I went with Maya's the other day. We were the only Friday Harbor boat to see j-pod. The staff and the boats are amazing!

We see orcas in the Salish Sea every month of the year, and sightings are typically more frequent between May - September. We also may see Humpback and Minke whales during these months too. And of course the area is full of other marine mammals, sea birds and wildlife year round.

I cant answer specifically, although I think I remember them saying they are there year round. We were there on August and they said normally they would be around during that time. We missed them because they were out looking for the mother whose baby had died.
