We are only on the island 4.5 days and have been to Haleys 3 of them. The service at first was a bit slow but the food and regulars definitely made it worth it. The clam chowder is amazing as well as their brisket grilled cheese and wraps. If they have the Pacific Pineapple on top its a must, squeeze a lime. I have never had such great conversations with the locals and I cannot wait to come back!

Was in Friday harbor for a few days. This place had the best food in the few places I tried. The Moody blue burger in probably the best blue cheese burger I’ve ever had! I also had the pulled pork Carnitas (tacos) which were simply amazing! Friendly staff and a clean establishment.

As a former long time resident of San Juan Island and Friday Harbor Hailey‘s was the go to restaurant for casual family dining. Prices were a little high on certain objects but overall the staff have always been extremely friendly. The Decour is nice and not overbearing. The menu is varied and delicious. And they will always do their best to try and accommodate you as best they can. Friendly recommendation. Avoid going to the restaurant however if it is a football game day. The bar area will often times be loaded with people watching the football game and whenever their particular team scores the entire bar area will often times irrupt in loud cheering. So if you’re not one for loud sports fanatics avoid the restaurant for Sunday football. Other than that easily one of the best casual dining restaurants on the island.

2021 update - Haley's is still one of our favorite places in Friday Harbor. This time we had their Cobb Salad Wrap and the Pulled Pork Sandwich. Sooo dang good!!! They've really kept the menu consistent over the years and the long time staff is well trained and provides awesome service. We're so glad they are still here and making the same great food we've always loved. Thank you, Haley's! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! 2017 - Always had good food here. A great local place. Great menu!! The space is large, plenty of tvs to watch sports, lots of seating. Fun casual atmosphere. Service is great when you get it, but they always seem under staffed. But the food and drinks always make up for it. Highly recommend their nachos, sweet potato fries, and Cobb salad! (Best on the island!)
