Hi Dianna, Thank you for your inquiry. All of our intake decisions are made on a case by case basis, but we will take friendly fiv+ cats when we have space. If the cat is truly feral, it is unlikely to be an adoption candidate. All intake requests should go through the cat surrender form on our website: https://www.seattleareafelinerescue.org/resources/surrendering-your-cat/, which will be received and reviewed by our intake staff.

They do, I adopted my buddy who is FIV+ from them.

I dont have any experience with SAFR, but I know plenty of cat colonies take them. The cats unfortunately can not be adopted unless they are with other FIV+ cats. Caveat: I did not get good response times from SAFR with my own questions, so I'd go to MEOW or Purrfect Paws, which do take FIV+ cats.
