Is there races tonight
That depends, if it's a short cloud burst they stop the races and dry the track out by driving utility vehicles around it, usually takes 20-30 minutes. However if it continues raining they have to close the track for the day. This happened on the first day of Clay Cup about two weeks ago, there was a cloud burst, they dried out the track, and right as they were about to start the races again another cloud burst hit and they had to end the races for the day. The reason they can't race with a wet track is because the packed down clay becomes like ice when water is on top of it.
