Nothing greedy about it. Idiots were bringing in armor piercing ammo which ricochets around. It makes it easier for them to manage. There isn't some crazy markup. Be happy you can shoot AR. Not many places allow it.
Yes but as the greedy company they are they make it mandatory that you only shoot their amunition through rifles and that makes it so expensive it's almost not even worth it
There's a reason why they require you to shoot their ammo. Had soldiers freakin bring in tracer rounds etc.
