I keep getting mail for other addresses...sometimes miles away on different streets...even bank and credit card statements ! It really makes me worry about MY mail ending up somewhere else! Does ANYONE have a local number to call?

Hahaha!!! This always and I mean always happens to my family. I've gone in talked to the post master, he did not care or seemed to, I was more of an incovience for him and his time to fix the issue. I was told that I need to get a PO Box to stop any further problems. And of course this is something I have to pay for. This is still an ongoing issue for us and we have lived here 3 years!! We are on the map. Now my mail is being sent back, and these are things I cant reoder such as pain medication from the Department of Veterans affairs. I am one 100% unsatisfied customer. I am appalled by the way the mail system runs here. The lies, when I have video proff that they never come to my home( gotta love surveillance cameras!)

What is the phone number directly to the Lacey post office?

My mail is being sent to other people down the road that live down a long private drive because they decided not to look to the very left of the mailboxes or read instructions, i have called and complained many times and now the person is blocking the driveway so i cant even go and get them anymore. It was a pain figuring out the house they are sending it to in the first place. Awful, awful service. They should be ashamed.

Just cross thru the incoming address (wrong address) with a sharpie and then write "RTS" on it and stick it back in the mail. RTS means return to sender. You're only getting this because those people didn't do a change of address. It's not like your mail is floating around or anything. This is the easiest way to get those pieces of mail returned to the sender so they're aware that the "person" or "people" no longer live at your address. And don't call the post office and waste their time. Just write RTS on it. That is the instruction to do from the post office. The postmen are busy at the office and don't have time for silliness like this.
