The paint department is terrible. Last year at this time they were great. I asked the guy working to mix valspar low voc and he actually told me they don’t want to make that anymore..? I received the worst paint, not what I paid for.

I've found that there are good departments, and bad departments in Lowes. It all boils down to the employees they hire

I buy a lot of paint from Lowe's and have actually had the same problem, sometimes. The employees that only work in the Paint Department are very knowledgeable, but it seems that they will be short staffed and will get any employee to work in that department, and their knowledge is terrible.
