Please read! Be careful what he's prescribing to you and look what diagnosis he puts into your chart! It may end very tragically! Dr. Martini is a nice, warm person. But be careful what he's prescribing to you and look what diagnosis he puts into your chart! I've been prescribed very dangerous, highly addictive stimulant without a reason. I didn't know about this drug. As usually, you take what doctor prescribes to you, because you trust them, right? Only after I accidentally started a conversation with my close relative, (who is Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor, Honored Scientist at the Department of Biological Psychiatry and Narcology) I received a slap on the head and a strict order to stop taking this drug immediately because I have no diagnosis for taking it. My relative said that some doctors hook up patients on such addictive drugs to keep patient coming back for it and all this can end very tragically for a patient, especially if patient have no diagnosis for such addictive drugs. I'm SO THANKFUL to my relative!!! Who knows where would I be now and what would have happened to me if I had not shared with my close relative that I was prescribed this drug. I would not recommend Dr. Martini to friends and family members.

I'm still fairly new to this area of medical and psychiatric treatment, combining specialties to cope with a lifelong, pervasive biological issue like ADHD. It takes retraining and clearing up years of misunderstandings and bad programming, and untangling thinking patterns that only make the issues worse. Dr. Martini is helping with the massive chaos, not by giving me all the answers, but helping me to start untangling my own thinking. Not an easy task but one he's undertaking with patience and skill. And Vanessa is always friendly, helpful and extremely quick in resolving sudden, unexpected problems.

UPDATED 8/26/14: I've been seeing him for over a year now and I gotta say I am still very impressed. Being a healthcare professional myself I know a good provider when I see one and Dr. Martini is one of the good ones. The hardest thing I had to do was ask for and get help. A colleague of mine recommended Dr. Martini and I am glad they did. I've been to see him about five or more times and have never had to wait more then a few min and his staff is professional yet fun (how healthcare staff should be).

I would leave a voicemail, giving your name, phone#, briefly telling referral info and issues. You can email, too.

Does anxiety cause a person to blank out some part of thinking normally??? (Panicing )makes things worse...so when asked questions from those you dont want to lie to yet are not able to answer truthfully ...or quickly as liked, =ptsd???

Yes anxiety does cause blank space outs. But also keep in mind. That certain medications that are prescribed to suppress and help the situation. Can cause depression & more blank space outs. I was diagnosed with PTSD 2 year's ago. I decided to stop taking Zoloft ( It causes me to have more space out to be particular) . And I also took citalopram for over a month. And realized I can heal myself.
