Know your SSN and have your WA ID
You will need your ID, if you don't have a Washington ID you can get a voucher from them and only have to pay$5.00 to get one,(only for a ID, not a Driver's license) name and birthday, SS number, for everyone in the family, (they also look it up in the computer), lease for proof of address and amount of rent, and people that live in the house, what you pay for bills, proof of income for all of the people you want assistance for (if you have a adult children under 22 in the home they will have to be on your food stamps). You have to inform them of the people who live in the house even if you don't want to get assistance for them, you just have to mark you don't want assistance for them. Also ask for a list of other places you can get help in the area, there are great resources to help with food and other things you might need.
Just as Karen said. And if you are new to this, I would suggest going as early as possible. There could be 10 people there or 40. You never know
