Best DSHS I have been to in WA I have lived in Seattle and Auburn and the one in Olympia is by far the most friendly and helpful for getting you back on your feet without making you feel even worse about yourself than you already do

Amazing service! Brandy is the absolute best 💛 Wait time was quick and everyone was super friendly and helpful!

Very disgruntled employees. They offer a program to those in need of attention deficit. But yet when you go to the building they won't offer you the individual care that they say they provide. I am thankful for the food benefits though.

Small, cramped office, that seldom has anyone in front to help any of the times I have been there. However, the meeting rooms are nice and the staff very pleasant. It is also in a good location with good parking.

You can also call 211 and they will tell you what resources are available to help you in the area your in. I beleive DSHS is closed due to covid unless you have an appointment so you'll probably need to call the dshs number...211 would also have that information.
Yes, they will lead you towards resources that help you find housing. Or better yet they even provide some program's such as the H.E.N. program which will cover your rent for up to a full year.
No go to dshs and get a voucher to reduce price.
No
98606 and 98662
Not really however depending on need you may qualify for cash and that may help you do your laundry
Simply go online or make a visit into the office and explain yourself to the person at the counter will guide you in the right direction
Gene Mason its 3 or 330 depending on the program applying for. I believe this is true.
