We recently purchased two rear speakers.When we mate them with the television we get a real weak sound. we can hardly hear it---any ideas??

Check the settings on audio of the tv

Changing the settings of your television in the sound section helps. Example change from Dolby sound to surround sound and you can do the same depending on what cable or dish network you have in settings.

Use a thicker speaker wire, or check your connections, they could be loose
