Hello Katie, We are a contract station with the United States Post Office. We sell basic Postal services and act as a collection point for US Mail. USPS does not provide the station with scanning equipment and software for us to scan tracking numbers directly into the US Mail system. All mail and parcels left or shipped at our location is collected at 1:15pm and 5:15pm each weekday by the US Postal Service and is driven to the Jefferson Street PO dock to be transferred to the sort facility. Any mail dropped or processed at our location after 5:15pm is stored behind a security system to wait for collection the following day. We can provide a drop off receipt upon request for our customers who bring in an occasional package. This receipt does not link to USPS in any way, it only reflects that a parcel with that tracking number was left at our location and accepted by one of our employees. This post office the staff is very sweet but they do not take a lot of Amazon packages they go to a US postal service.. ships UPS and FedEx and not privately owned contracted with the US postal services....
