Have lived in Olympia since 1989 and always found OPD to be perhaps the most compassionate law enforcement organization anywhere. In spite of the most recent invasion/importation of drug addicts and I-5 “Road Dog” professional thieves to our welcoming city, the current state of downtown, East Bay Dr and Capital Lake are vastly improved, restored to their prior beauty. This is an amazing accomplishment when factoring in the obstacles placed in front of these devoted officers by the very city government entrusted by all of us to support public safety in Olympia. THANK YOU OPD!

I hope officer Jerk R. Wilson is happy with his arrest and all of his other little followers who decided to take my husband in while he was trying to get me to the ER. WONDERFUL job at protecting and serving. I hope the tax payers are happy with you and your minions. I hope you guys got your quota for the month god forbid you don't. 😒😒😒

I want to thank the officers for being so fast on looking for the OBEE bank robbery from this AM. They drove through our park, Friendly Village, looking for him. The officer was really been conscientious in his "scoping" the area. Hope they catch him. I've had occasions to deal with the officers on different situations and only one has given me pause as to his intelligence and"why are you here". Ego, on a training, probation I don't know what it was but I hope I never have to deal with him again.

My husband and I were house-sitting for a friend and we had phoned the police due to some unusal noises. They arrived in about 15-20 minutes and had a thorough look around the property. Even at 1 am they were kind and thoughtful. They left us feeling much more at ease. They handled everything very professionally. Officers have a very tough and unpredictable job. It is a burden that most people, including myself, could not and would not take on. I do not go to work each day worried about whether or not I will see my family again. I am glad that these individuals choose to serve our communities.

Call 911
Call the police dispatch or record it happening then call 911 and you're better off calling sheriff or wsp before opd
They do have a K9 unit. I don't know if they are working with that organization.
