Yes, you can camp with dogs. Some trails though do not allow dogs.

Seems possible, since several cabins had occupants with dogs...most trails would require leashed dogs..... a little north of Big Meadows is a great trail that has great series of waterfalls, on your right as you head north on S Drive
Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed at all times. The Appalachian Trail runs through the area and dogs are allowed. Check at the registration about other pet friendly trails.
