Can you camp here with a dog? Edit: Can you also recommend some favorite nearby trails to hike with dogs? I just looked up the guidelines, and some of the trails I was planning on doing do not allow dogs.

Yes, you can camp with dogs. Some trails though do not allow dogs.

Yes you can! I brought mine with me and there were a few others.

Seems possible, since several cabins had occupants with dogs...most trails would require leashed dogs..... a little north of Big Meadows is a great trail that has great series of waterfalls, on your right as you head north on S Drive

Dogs are allowed, but must be leashed at all times. The Appalachian Trail runs through the area and dogs are allowed. Check at the registration about other pet friendly trails.

Yes. Dogs should always be leashed and never left alone at your campsite

Yes. Most national parks allow dogs in the campgrounds. Most trails in the national parks don't allow them. Check out the rules here because of the appilation trail.
