No, but you should get right on it after that.
Mandee, no you don't. Aaron, your answer sounds like the voice of the prodigal son's brother. Clinically speaking, its called all or nothing thinking. I love that you believe you have had zero deceit nor hypocrisy in your temple worship experiences. Most of us, sick and sinning individuals do the best we can to see the hand of God in our lives. I have never nor will ever, in this life, be as sinless as you direct the questioner to be. Your answer indicates you may have missed a bit of personal experience with my elder brother's sacrifice. But, take heart. God will judge each of us with the same measure of justice (or mercy) with which we judge.
It depends.....could you go into your bishop's office or your stake president's office and be able to answer the temple recommend interview questions honestly with no uncertainty in your heart in order to get your temple recommend? Have you been through before? I got engaged on 29 February on a leap year called and scheduled a temple marriage for three months later. The only problem was I hadn't ever been to the temple before. I took out my endowments about three weeks later and I'm glad I did it ahead of time bcuz it definitely got me prepared for the commitments I was about to make with my now wife. So in my case the answer would be no, but if you can't answer those temple recommend questions honestly and you get a recommend using even a little deceit could you live with yourself knowing that your marriage was a sham? Just be honest with yourself and you'll know how to answer your own question.
