The staff is rude, the inventory is poor and the store is organized in a way that makes no sense.. clothing sorted by color not size etc. Everything is overpriced. Dirty shoes, dirty clothes, and very very dirty bathrooms with human feces all over seat tight after a staff member left bathroom without washing hands due to no soap in dispensers.... Very irresponsible durring a pandemic. I would rather shop at goodwill - or any other thrift store for that matter - any day which is unfortunate as this organization has an unfair monopoly on the area.

Greedy Industries more like it. They now want $4.00 for a single used DVD. Been shopping here almost 20 years and don't plan to go back anytime soon. The rampant greed is appalling. These are DONATED items you people get for FREE why do you need to gouge the public? No wonder so much ends up in the landfill because people won't pay your ridiculous prices.

This has always been one of our favorite DI locations. We don't have a DI near us in CA, so we stop here whenever we are driving through. We usually look at books and men's clothing and are never disappointed. I personally have been the recipient of the additional job training that is made available through the proceeds from DI thrift sales, and it was greatly appreciated!

Terrible customer service! I used to work there and loved the DI but my parents were buying a outdoor table and just about had it sold to someone else right before paying. When they went back the next day to pick it up it had been sold to another person. I'm never shopping at this store again.

Remodelling. They will be replacing the carpets, dressing rooms, and a lot more. As far as I know, they have not yet announced a reopening date. They are going to use the new Cedar City DI as a style guide, so expect it to be stunning.
They accept credit.

No. They sell wheelchairs sometimes though.
As of fall 2019, Deseret Industries St. George is no longer doing donation pick-ups.
We take used couches, box springs, and even mattresses if the mattresses have tags and are newer than 2008. See deseretindustries.org/donate for more items we can or cannot take.
As of fall 2019, our location no longer does donation pick-ups
It is pickup only. They do not deliver, from what I remember when I worked there back in 2015.
They'll take anything, whatever they can't use gets tossed.
Yes
Perhaps, mostly it is a drop off location
Regular hours
The store is the only drop off point unless you leave it at your ward.
My receipt says that you can only return clothing within 7 days in exchange for clothing of equal or lesser value. Everything is sold as-is without any sort of warranty or returns.
We do take donations. The donation area is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday from 12 pm to 5 pm.
