We have adopted two Holland lop' s from a woman we found on Craig's list in Yakima. Both have been healthy and she was very informative. I won't post her info without her permission, but you may want to check to see if she is still posting there.
There's a place called rabbit haven in gig harbor that is a rabbit rescue. Look them up!
Go to Petfinder and put in your request for info to locate rabbits available at local shelters. It's a great website for finding any pet to adopt locally and nationally. We ultimately found our dog that way. He was 5 years old when we adopted him and is now 15-1/2 years old and going strong. A cherished family member.
I agree with going to Pet Finder. I adopted a bunny last October and at that time Seattle Humane didn't have any rabbits at their shelters. They were all fostered out into private homes. I adopted through R.E.D. (rescue every dog). They were great to work with and checked to make sure my home was suitable.
Small animals aren't available right now due to moving, though they should be coming back relatively soon.
