I am talking to my own parents who have visited this place. Arriving home and reading the fine print it was a 100,000 by in fee. Obviously, some of that will be refunded at some point. However, after contacting my LONG term banking friends I have learned that most of these places are scams. qoute " if they are asking a large up front fee, most likely they are just another money mill for the elderly".
You aren't talking to people who know senior living. There are two common ways of arranging, and one has an initial amount but then lower monthly fees. My Mom moved to a senior community with an initial amount 25 years ago. It was the smartest move she's ever made.
