As an employee, I can tell you that they do not purchase rocks, gems, minerals or fossils from private sellers. They attend several trade shows per year to buy the stock. However you can always go in to get things identified and help with pricing so that you can sell it online. Jerry's recommends Ebay for selling your rocks.
