I used to be volunteer at University food bank and I used to work there like a volunteer When you get there they will owe you a chat to know how much food and or drinks.
Some form of id for all household members and mail that shows you live in the service area. If you are not currently in stable housing, just stop in. They do not turn people away because you don't have paperwork.
