I'm considering joining the"Y" here on 4th ave in Seattle but soon will be moving to Normandy Park Will I still be accepted with all "facility membership" although this facility is not in the Seattle city limits.

Please avoid Matt Griffin Y! My family signed up thru the Y in Seattle and they ALL offer Sliding scale in WA State btw. The Matt Griffin Y has a very Small gym, the staff are only courteous when they check you in and dont have to see you again. The lifeguards are very distracted by the other associates that work here (Constant Flirting not paying attention to swimmers). Go the any Y but here and you'll be happy, my Huband travels for work alot and this was our first and last visit at this location!

I would sign up at Matt Griffin, they have a sliding scale based on income although the sliding scale is definitely not the same at all locations Matt Griffin has the best one I have experienced between West Seattle and Matt Griffin. Also this one has excellent customer service while others like Seattle and West Seattle have horrible customer service and they are snobbish and do not return phone calls. I have been a member for about 20 yrs and I don't expect the staff to coddle me. If I have any questions Matt Griffin has exceptional service. Any issues you make them aware of they handle them pretty quick
