I have family membership, but I forgot my physical ID at home (they do not accept photo of ID). Going to cancel membership, because I think it us not acceptable.
AntiMatter Zone
Don't park your car here unless you want it broken into. The YMCA doesn't care either and shrugs their shoulders at you. $350 out of my pocket.

This place has nothing to offer individuals that want to workout beyond swimming and cardio. They're open and close times are all over the place. They are open for 8hrs Monday-Thursday, closed Friday-Saturday and open on Sunday 10am-2pm. For an organization that is built around supporting a community it does a very poor job of being available. Additionally, their weightlifting section is cramped and provides minimal options. Their barbell plates literally bend. This isn’t a gym and it isn’t a place that tries to support its community. Do better.

They didn’t keep the online schedule up to date. It was like getting a secrete out of fort-Knox to find out about a Children’s class, specifically the toddler play time group. I would call to ask a question and be on hold forever and then the staff didn’t know the answer and wouldn’t try to find out. The chlorine in the water is too high. It’s ok if I just go and work out but when my family engages in the programs, they rarely have a good time. Sometimes the front desk people in the morning are not friendly. I hope the change in management brings positive changes. I have seen positive changes in how friendly the front desk people are and the quality of some of the class instruction.

While not technically called Silver Sneakers, they have several classes for active older adults on their Group Wellness Schedule. I regularly attend the Enhanced Fitness class that includes step aerobics, stretches and strength exercises. This class is especially helpful for those who wish to avoid falling.
No
This location is not listed on website as modified schedule Feb 6th & 7th. Normal hours on Thursdays are 5am - 10pm.
Thanks for the heads up!
Don't know.. check their website..
Please avoid Matt Griffin Y! My family signed up thru the Y in Seattle and they ALL offer Sliding scale in WA State btw. The Matt Griffin Y has a very Small gym, the staff are only courteous when they check you in and dont have to see you again. The lifeguards are very distracted by the other associates that work here (Constant Flirting not paying attention to swimmers). Go the any Y but here and you'll be happy, my Huband travels for work alot and this was our first and last visit at this location!
Kids 10-13 have to take an orientation, but you don't have to if you are older
Not sure about hoop courts being open. I know you need to make appointments to use the pool and gym.
Because you didn't cancel your membership maybe you should go into your local YMCA to get that sorted out
As far as I know they're not and on top of that you have to make arrangements 48 hours in advance for the swimming pool and for the fitness center
Hi Sheryl! You can fill out the form at seattleymca.org/change
You can claim it on taxes as a donation and get it as a tax credit. YMCA has Info on it.
Mabye 60 or 50 dollars
It has scheduled times for open swim and times for other activities I believe it close at 850pm
Until gym closes
I did not lose, I was close to that place, I'm very sorry.
13 and up but if ur 10 you can take the youth ortation to use it
They are closed for yearly maintenance for a week. Members received an email and the closure appears on their website.
Yes
Make a phone call to them.
You'll see the doors open at 5 a.m. 🐣
It depends on whether you are an individual or family and whether you want an ongoing membership or just a day pass and whether you are a SeaTac resident and your age.
The are 2 classes 8-9 and 9-10 am.
Please call them, there is also a YMCA in Coal Creek.
6am
Children have to pass a swimming test to swim without a parent/guardian in the pool with them. The times vary a bit by season and are usually different on weekends and holidays. Last summer they had a day "camp" that included pool time. I would recommend calling or drop by and pick up the monthly swim schedule calendar which has both children's and adults swim schedules
If you have children, it would be a good idea to get a copy of the monthly schedule. The schedule gives the days and times of classes and free swim time.
There's a small Jacuzzi pool near the main pool but that's about it.
They are usually closed on Holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas. I would call and ask. They also have a later operations time and earlier closing time on Sunday
You can try them out for a week before u have to sign up for a membership
Yes they do, 2 pools plus a kids section to swim around
Sorry no
