I went to Fast Pace after my blood pressure had shot up really high. My regular pcp office couldn't see me, but they weren't comfortable with me not being seen at all. So they told me to go to the ER or Fast Pace. I chose Fast Pace. I was charged $135 for a 30 minute visit in which the PA came in the room accusing me of just wanting pain medication. Literally came through the door saying "you're in the wrong place for pain meds." I never asked for pain medication, I didn't want any, I told her that multiple times. Yet the first several minutes that she "talked with" me, she was explaining why she can't give me any kind of pain medication. I finally got her to understand that my blood pressure had shot up while I was at work and she basically said there wasn't anything she could do for me. I asked her if it had come down any at all since I had left work and her response was "oh I don't know. It was like 150-something over 90-something I think. I didn't really pay attention to it." I was livid. Nobody should ever be treated like that by a so called professional.
