Are they ever discounts for low income families?

The only discounts are for county residents, militarily and senior. (Be sure to bring I.D. as proof)

The best solution is to get an annual membership. If you have several family members, and hope to make more than one visit, you will probsbly save money overall. (Zoo membership is also an excellent deal). For small children family membership enables several shorter visits at no extra cost, much better than a single long and exhausting day out. Many schools also have field trips to Northwest Trek. Also, call and ask if there is an upcoming free day.

Its a few dollars cheaper online.

The cheapest way to enjoy is a family membership. Usually pays for itself within 2 visits depending on the size of your family.

Military and Pierce County residents are the only discounts I have seen. I would call and talk with someone to see if they offer that discount.
