Yes, bring rain jackets, good shoes or boots and an umbrella and you get to see a whole different view of the place! It's beautiful!! Not very fun for little ones, though, because they'll miss out on playing in the play area.
I wouldn't go if it's raining. Unless you just want to do the tram ride otherwise everything else is on foot and if you have kids the play area would be not so much fun.
