It really depends on the event.
Free to enter the facilities but swim or other activities such as exercise class varies in price.
I believe certain events( private meets ) charge a fee to just enter ....such as the state meets ...the fee this year to just watch was 10$ but to enter the facility to swim on regular schedule the fee is between $3.25 - $5.00...varies on age and pool you want to swim in... If your viewing on a regular scheduled day ...yes its free to watch
It's free to enter as a spectator, but the events usually charge participants. Lap swim costs $5.
