Gun counter lines are extremely long and slow, parking lot has crime activity and the online store isn’t any better. The counter lines are slow and I get it, but when there’s an hour left till closing the guys behind the counter speed up and work with two people instead of one that’s annoying. They had already stop giving out tickets 1.5hours before closing so there was no more need to rush then before but they did showing that the lines could have moved twice as fast but instead they did not. I understand a one to one approach to selling firearms but doing one then the other is not acceptable. Also (this part is more of a reflection on the online system and less of the store)I had made an online order and part had come in I did my paperwork and was transferred my firearm but the non firearm portion of my order never got fulfilled.I got an email for pick up for the gun but No email for pickup and no notice of cancellation for the other stuff. Either notification would have be ok but I was left in the dark and had to check my records and then go and ask the store who said they never received my order. This store used to be a nice place to come too and now I can’t trust the online store or the people behind the counter. Not to mention the rats in the parking lot going to and from Sportsmans and jimmy mack’s at night, all the shoplifters and the broken glass in the parking lot. If I was you I would look else where to go spend your money in a safe and timely manner

So I go to the window where they put line on your reels, it’s 3pm on a Saturday. I came in with 6 reels that I wanted to buy line for. I was behind one person who was getting lime put on his reel. When the associate was done putting the line on, he avoided me a bolted to the front of the store. So I waited there for about 15 minutes until another associate came but he was busy putting bow string on a bow for another customer. I sat there waiting for another 10 minutes until I asked the bow guy where the other associate went. He said he’d call somebody. A young associate came by, I informed him what I needed, but he insisted he needed to help another person pick out a fishing rod first. Waited another 15 minutes. Finally he came over and I gave him a couple reels to put lime on. Browsed for a bit, came back ten minutes later and there was a more senior associate helping the younger one put my line on. The older associate asked how many other reels I had, let him know I had 3 more. He said he can’t get to the other ones today because he needs to help someone else. This is at 4pm, after I’ve been waiting for an hour. I thought “ok” I’ll go buy the line from the rack and put it on myself. Only problem: the usual problem at sportsmans, THEY HAVE NOTHING IN STOCK. The only line they had in stock that I needed was behind that line counter. I’m done with sportsman it’s the worst sporting goods store around. Absolute garbage.

I enjoy cabelas and Bass Pro Shops but definitely sportsman's warehouse is the best if you want to get a good deal and you also want good quality things for hunting fishing and all of your outdoor needs

What a joke, nice to see that Sportsman’s warehouse is consistent with hiring inexperienced, rude, and lazy staff. Never fear though, their excuses are the same as the year before and the year before that. What I don’t understand is how they keep going through employees/managers and hiring the same exact unhelpful people to replace them. Someone for the love of god take responsibility for this poor mismanaged store. Probably be better off getting rid of everyone and starting over because it doesn’t come across as if anyone values there jobs or customers anyways. The employees talk about you while trying to look busy to avoid helping you. And managers act as if they’re unaware of it all and they’re victims. Shut it down. And if you’re wondering where all the ammo is, ask the staff how many boxes the employees put on hold before the store opened.
