Do the pools get any shade during the day? I want to stay on a vacay but dont want too much sun in those pools in the NM heat and sun with kids. Do the actual pools get any shade (not necessarily the seated areas)?

They have umbrellas, seats with attached shade Canopys, and an area with lounge chairs with a large covered shade area. So yes, as long as you claim you seats early you get your pic. Plenty of shade to be had.

No shade in the pool but umbrellas are around as Valerie said. Really nice place
