There is no grilling allowed, only on the “beach” where there are no trees for shade from the Texas sun, definitely bring a large umbrella or similar cover as this is the ONLY place you’re allowed to grill.
No grilling allowed due to sensitive ecosystem. It's in that FAQ section on their website. They do have a firepit for Smores by the restaurant.
