I got stuck in sand on Access Rd. 3, but no problems on the beach ever. A local said take 1st or 2nd access Rd in future, & he was right. You need a parking pass (buy @ HEB) $12 annually for all beaches from Corpus to Port A.

No parking. You will be safe. I have never seen anyone stuck on the sand
