Megapasses that are sold online prior to the fair include gate admission and a ride armband. The ride armbands that are available on some days at the gate do not include gate admission. The online price also includes the ticket processing fee.
They charge a fee online. At the gate you cannot get it anytime there are special days you can buy the mega passes at the gate
