I realize that this is an old question, but I'm going through and answering them anyway LOL. Unfortunately, on the S5 to get to the charge port you have to lift the screen. This is a high risk maneuver and the screen is more expensive than the device. We typically suggest getting an external universal battery charger, as it's more reliable and less expensive.
