Actually there are signs and rules which prohibit swimming..
It's a bird and wildlife sanctuary. It's for birds and wildlife first. The rules indicate no swimming or wading in the water for the health of the birds and wildlife, and to a lesser degree for the safety of we humans. If you decide you're above the rules, then Shannon Gorman offers good advice.
I do all the time. You must use swimming shoes. You can get them at Walmart for 8 or 10 box a piece and you also need to be mindful that the rocks can shift under your feet and can be a little slippery so walk very slowly and test each rock out before you put all your weight on it
No swimming/wading is posted everywhere.
I swim there all the time so do tons of other people never saw signs swim with watershoes
No, there is no swimimg.
I've seen people swimming, but the pool isn't really that large.
You're not supposed to swim due to it being a Sanctuary but I have seen people wading in the water
