Can one bring a basket & blanket and have a picnic there?

Absolutely bring a picnic. My grandchildren and I have done this many times but we kinda cheated. We didn't put any food in our basket...went to Publix across the street and bought fried chicken, sushi, iced tea, potato salad, chips and cookies for dessert. Then we filled the basket, walked across the street and pigged out. If we had leftovers, we gave them away to anyone who wanted them. Win/win!
