Yes, but bring water shoes. The beach coarse rather than sandy so water shoes are a must. Otherwise it's great for kids.
Yep. Three little beaches, the first one near the parking lot is cool at low tide to find hermit crabs, little fish etc. The middle one is more for finding beach glass. The farthest from the parking lot past the playground is the best for swimming.

Yes i take my nephews and nieces there all summer long. Tho the pool is being worked on, the beaches are still great
