Had a great time at Forest River Park, will definitely return. It’s got a nice little beach area, perfect for the kids and shaded grassy areas where you can sit, grill, blast music. And there are nice, new bathrooms next to the pool area. There’s even a playground in the middle. Hidden MA beach gem.

Great time beautiful place However there should be shade provided for those waiting in line for the pool. And more trash barrels are needed throughout the park. The sand in the water at the beach behind the pool was black sludge really really gross

Dogs are allowed on leash. Water front areas to sit. Nice views of harbor. Places to sit the shade when sunny. Picnic spots. Small beach area to swim. Nice place.

Yes it's completely awesome. Family and I had such a wonderful day. Here...the views are amazing and the water is fairly warm.

Yes, but bring water shoes. The beach coarse rather than sandy so water shoes are a must. Otherwise it's great for kids.
No, that pool will most likely never re-open. The city is doing a study on building a new pool.
No camping at Forest River park, but you can camp about 2 miles away at Winter Island, for a fee. Forest River is open year round, Winter Island allows camping during the summer.
No, we are from out of state and we spent the afternoon there.
There site says 9:00 to 7:00 I hope this helps you.
No.. Public parking as well
the pool is under construction ,but the slide you go down with cardboard is open ,as well as the park for kids, and walking path sidewalk ,bathrooms,it us fee free
I see people fishing there all the time whether or not it's legal I'm not sure.
The parking is for short term not size specified. The parking that "assigned" for the trail is on the campus parking, so students not always care about the dogs and their owners cars
Yeah, when co struction is finished in the next 6-8 weeks there will be q gate restricting auto access.
