We reserved their king suite, double queens, and junior suites for ourselves, our families, and our wedding party for the weekend. Very comfortable stay. Clean, plenty of space for everyone, and photographed well while both the bride and the groom were getting ready. Some thoughtful touches (wedding cake brought up to our room from the reception) really made us feel like they wanted us to have the best experience there!

This was the worst hotel I stayed at on a two-week trip, despite being one of the more expensive. I was given a room with a broken air conditioner, a malfunctioning door latch, furniture with multiple holes, walls with several stains and strips of missing paint, etc. Instead of moving me immediately, the front desk sent workmen to fix the air conditioner. After 20 frustrating minutes, I asked again to be moved. They said they would see what they could do, but it was another 15-20 minutes before I was called back by the front desk. They told me they had managed to find another room for me, and that I could come down to get the key. So, my son and I lugged all of our stuff back down to the elevator, only to be given a key to a room two doors down from our first. It seems like the front desk staff could have brought it to us after so much inconvenience, rather than us bringing our luggage up and down repeatedly just to move a few feet down the hall. They were not friendly either- not openly rude but far from pleasant. The new room was in better shape, but still FAR from worthy of the price. And it was directly above the restaurant, with several events going on that resulted in blaring music until 11:00. I was given no warning to expect that, and no option for a quieter room. Room service/restaurant staff was very nice and helpful (unlike the front desk staff) but the food was very poor quality for dinner. So much so that we sought breakfast elsewhere despite originally planning to order room service again. Also, after calling to inquire about the loud music blaring from below I expressed to the front desk staff how unhappy I was with the whole experience, and requested a manager call me the next day. No one ever called me.

Great location and clean but rooms could use some updates and maintenance. Nothing bad enough to ruin our stay or attempt to have addressed, but enough to make it feel like the value for the money was not there. Hot water was so-so, bathroom sink drain barely opened, and air-conditioning was pretty old but working okay in our room. I would expect more for $300/night but you really pay for the central location which is very nice. Beer garden next door was a great spot. Service at the restaurant was slow but the food was good and reasonably priced. Would return again if they did some renovations but otherwise might try another local hotel if we returned to the area.

Really enjoyed this hotel. The price was good, the staff was all very accommodating, and the bar was good too. The room did not have a fridge but they were quick to get us one for a small upcharge. The room was very very clean and kept well. Quiet too. The beds we're comfy, the shower was good, and my lady loved the bathroom setup to accommodate makeup and getting ready for the day. The hotel is in a perfect location for exploring downtown Salem, it's right in the middle of...everything. Close to shops, bars, and tourist attractions. With a large truck, the outside parking lot was great to have a spacious for parking. Sorry I didn't snap any pics of the room

Yes. Some rooms have two baths one with tub other without.😃
We ordered room service at 10 pm. I don't know how late they are open, but our dinner was excellent for such a late hour.
