Does it cost to get into the state parks now?

It doesn't cost to go to the hiking trail area.

I know if you enter the camp ground area at little ax there is a fee to enter unless camping then you just pay the camp fee. Other site I've I've seen no enter fee.

No. Only if you camp there

We accessed the walking and biking trails at Thunderbird state park for free in November 2019. There may be fees for camping overnight or launching boats. Occasionally there is a very low entrance fee for the larger parks (I recall Yellowstone and Glacier National several years ago).
