One Blood is not a plasma pay place. You can donate whole blood, plasma, etc., for the good of those in need. They offer gift cards, tee shirts, and other promotional items as incentives.
Hello Earnest. OneBlood is a not-for-profit organization and regulated by the U.S. Food & Drug Administration (FDA). Volunteer donors remain the only source of blood for patients in need. FDA regulations prohibit blood centers from paying donors for their lifesaving donations. However, it is common for us to recognize donors by offering special promotional items such as t-shirts, coupons, discount tickets or gift cards. The availability of these items may change or may not always be available to donors depending on the specific promotion or location.
