Was a regular donor, girl in charge there today just made me feel like walk-ins weren't a priority. I worked there for awhile, I know appointments come first, but don't just blow off and be rude to people taking time and giving you a donation (free of cost, 87 times) and expect repeat business. Maybe she was having a bad day, regardless, I'm done.

One Blood is not a plasma pay place. You can donate whole blood, plasma, etc., for the good of those in need. They offer gift cards, tee shirts, and other promotional items as incentives.
Yes they do
No, you cannot donate blood if you ever had hepatitis C, even if you spontaneously cleared the virus or if you were successfully cured with medication. Even if you have had an SVR (sustained virologic response) from a course of medication for hepatitis C and you are "cured" -- blood donation is still prohibited.
