Yes there is a shallow area and it is perfect for toddlers. The steps leading into the shallow area tend to be quite slippery though. I try to avoid the steps when I can.

My kids wore life jackets because the deep part is probably close to 30ft. We didnt want to take any chances. They're about $10-$20 at walmart. They had a great time 😊

It's set up like a pool. Shallow in the beginning and then it gets deeper. I would consider a life vest. You can never be too careful with the kiddos.

I was just there. There were a lot of small children. It's sallow around the steps and it's not that deep. It's deep where you jump off the jump platform. Always use life jackets if you can't swim to be on the safe side.

Yes there is but it is not a very big spot. I would have your child wear a life jacket while your there.
