If I wanted to take a day trip to swim or go on the bike trails, would there be parking fees? I understand the office hours are 8:15 - 4:45 so I'm assuming that's the park hours for those who are not staying overnight?

No fee for parking, but there is an entry fee for adults.

For those 13 years +, or w/o a state park pass, there is $3 per person fee. Those are office hours, there are slips outside the office to pay by honor system outside of those hours. The actual gates won't close until much later than 4:45.
