Note that the trail to Glacier Point from the Valley is 4 miles long and nearly a mile UP. For that 1/4 mile bit, you need to drive some 45 minutes up out of the valley. Got it?
Yes
You can drive up to most of the sights and it's only a short hike to see the views. The trails are smooth and well maintained. I injured my leg on Tuesday and still went on Saturday and handled it without much difficulty. It's my understanding that there are A lot of wonderful hikes in the park though.
From the parking lot at Glacier Point, yes. From the trail head in Yosemite Valley you would take the four mile trail just off of south side drive.
Where you park? Yes there is a mobility way and some stairs for non impaired.. and well worth it!
