Yes you do need an appointment we had our dog of 14 years put down in September he had stage 4 lung cancer,we go to the Rochester Hills location I would suggest asking for Dr Emery he is the BEST he will also help you as well with the process he is very caring, thoughtful and kind he treats you pet like his own,

Cremation runs around $35-50. If you call any humane society line they'll help you find a convenient location and make the right choice for your cat.

Sorry for your loss. I just recently had to with my 16 yr old cat. I went to the one in rochester hills it was by app. Only for the process it cost $35 . its about $150 if you want ashes back. They were very kind there.
