Yes the middle section is pull through. They will allow tent camping in that area as well. I would not call it "grassy" as the oak trees keep it shady so the grass grows in patches. But it is not all gravel or pavement like some RV camps. We bring our scouts there every year and the boys tent while their families will rent Cabins or bring RVs. It works out.
You cannot camp at the park but there are a couple areas to camp right near the park.the jug. Itchetucknee family campground
Yes you can bring campers and there are grassy areas there. It is pretty shady due to all the oak trees but plenty of flat areas for tents
