The float down the river was beautiful, water was crystal clear! One thing I thought was weird was the guy who loaded up ever ones tubes and drove the tram to the drop off did not help people with the tubes off the back. He said go get your tubes, then people had to open the net and start getting tubes out for people, then people started arguing over who's tubes were who's. The driver should have opened up the back and handed out the tubes.

Gate is most of the time locked and there is a pay station there. Inconvenient if you're on a bicycle because you can't ride the bike on their paths inside the park and that's the best place just to go swimming that's just my opinion

We had an amazing float! Saw tons of turtles, flying fish, oodles of otters and beautiful birds! About 3/4 of the way thru a kayaker warned us that we might get locked in, as he had imagined the park closing promptly at 6, instead of sundown as the signs said. We spent the last hour trying not to fret, as we didn’t really have any power to change our timeline by that point. Upon arriving to our vehicle (the last in the lot) we found a polite note informing us of how to get out if we were late (we weren’t after all!), and were also greeted by a very pleasant staffer who told us we were all good. His courteousness and positive vibe fully restored our fabulous feelings about the spot!
