Is it fine to Tent Camp during October? Me and a few buddies will be checking out the area for a few days and we want to set up in the canyon.

Absolutely!! Be prepared for low temps at night and nice warm sunshine during the days. Anything can happen; so be prepared for snow, rain, wildlife, fire bans.... It doesn't make sense to look at the past h weather permitting I go
