We haven't been huge nature people but this was a very pleasant place to visit. We lived looking for animals and trying to identify birds. We picked up a tick along our journey... Not to be unexpected. The staff was very pleasant.

I was there last summer none of us are hikers. It was my opinion that the trails weren't clearly marked for novices it was a challenge. We did see a beaver dam on our trail . Going ove some bridges we saw minnows and fresh water shell fish and mussels.

This is one of my favorite places to visit while in the Berkshires. I consider it a little cornern of heaven! Whether wandering the trails around the ponds, or climbing up the mountain to the fire tower, I’m always entranced by the beauty around me here. Just minutes from Tanglewood, Pleasant Valley should be a must visit for everyone!
