Utterly shocked to say this, but please, please DO NOT COME HERE ANYMORE. We had an extremely disturbing experience here last summer unlike anything we have ever endured in our entire lives. My sister rode here often as a kid growing up Lenox. On a spectacular summer day while visiting farm to set up lesson for a child, our families and children were accosted by a deranged woman (clearly suffering severe mental health issues) working at the farm who suddenly appeared out of nowhere spewing profanities and hatred at our family as we were getting in cars to leave after scheduling lesson. NEVER in my life have I seen such shocking, aggressive and utterly inappropriate conduct, especially with young children present. Extremely bizarre and upsetting. Her totally false and inexplicable accusations regarding our children were absolutely sickening. My sister and her kids were in tears. Even after we demanded her to cease attacking us, she continued until we left. We called and attempted to speak with current owners as well as cancel the scheduled lessons but our message was never even returned. We will never, ever return to the formally beloved Undermountain Farm. Utterly shocking and shameful. Clearly this woman, who refused to give us her name or explain her role at Undermountain, had severe mental health issues but it is still beyond unacceptable. What happened to this beautiful place? Couldn’t have been less expected in such a familiar, seemingly safe and beautiful place on a perfect day. Disgusting and I’m still disturbed months later.

Unfortunately, no - we require riders to have some experience and be able to demonstrate it - the trails we ride on can be rough and steep. These are rides for people with more experience. We invite you to come take a lesson in our indoor riding ring if you would like to get started!
HI Dave - please call the farm directly at 413-637-3365 - we are offering trail rides but I don't know the details presently (I manage the website and get these notices) - if you don't get an answer just leave a message and they will call you back! Thanks.
Please call the farm at 413-637-3365
Anyone can go get horseback riding with a fee.
