Hi the parking lot is only open certain hours and usually you can just go down by the veterans you know the veterans hall and park there but there's a hotel there and they kind of try to stop you from doing it so the parking lot is only open to Johnson's Beach when they have their open hours and that's like only in the summer I think but in the in the winter time you can buy a key from Kings Kings of hardware store right there in guerneville and then for $25 and then you can open the gate yourself and go in and that's to unload or load your boat but that's only in the winter time
